Armenia: Cascade Complex

The Cascade Complex is also known as the Yerevan Cascade is a giant staircase that is completely made out of limestone. There were three different architects that were responsible for this Armanian gem. Construction started on the Yerevan Cascade in 1971 but it was only partially completed in 1980. At the bottom of the Cascade is a garden with a beautiful fountain in the middle and numerous sculptures and art surrounding the garden area. The Cascade is connected to the Cafesjian Museum of Art. At the top of the Complex you can see some beautiful views of the city and the natural beauty of Armenia.
